One of the ‘mini’miners’, this is a small black species with few obvious distinguishing features. It is one of the Micrandrena which possesses strong striations on the face, which can be a useful clue. It is however, a difficult species to identify and should be determined using a microscope.
Disitribution: In Europe, this species is known from the Iberian Peninsula, from NE Spain and S Portugal, where it considered scarce.
